Mount Rinjani is the most outstanding natural attraction in Lombok. At 3,726 meters, the Rinjani offers breathtaking views of glistening sunrises and sunsets, a massive rim of Rinjani’s huge caldera, the fabulous cobalt blue Danau Segara Anak lake trimmed with hot springs, and the more recent volcanic cone of Gunung Barujari, which continuously growing. The biggest attraction at Mt Rinjani is within the huge crater itself and to see that, you have to climb it.

The normal temperature in Mount Rinjani during the day is around 17-23 degrees Celsius. At night the temperature could reach 10 degrees Celsius.
For this trip, It is suggested that you wear a base layer and prepare a good quality fleece jacket/woolen or windproof jacket as the outer layer (for night temperature). Waterproof and windproof trekking pants are desirable and a pair of gloves and beanie for additional cold protection.
